MOTD Installation

To install the MOTD message, create or edit /etc/motd and paste the following content into it.

sudo nano /etc/motd

Then place this exact text in the file:

          ▄▄▄   ▄▄▄▄▄   ▄▄▄

      ▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄   ▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄
    ▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄   ▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄
  ▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄   ▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄

             Skynet.lan

Save the file and exit the editor.

Verify the message with:

cat /etc/motd

The MOTD will appear on shell login after the next login session.
